Who Are We
Beverly’s Bridge is a family-led non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational resources, support, and opportunities for students in Jamaica — bridging the gap to a brighter future.
We are rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to opportunities that will help them grow into confident, capable, and successful individuals.
Our team is made up of family members, working together to connect resources with the children and families who need them most. We are committed to uplifting communities, starting small but always keeping a bigger vision in mind: creating lasting change that spans generations.

Our Inspiration
Beverly Turner, who passed away in December 2024, was a devoted single mother to five daughters and a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She worked tirelessly her entire life to ensure her children received an education, even sewing school uniforms by hand when times were tough.
We created Beverly’s Bridge to honor her legacy by giving back to the community where she was born and raised, and where our family’s ancestral roots lie. Through this work, we aim to carry forward her dedication to education and opportunity, inspiring and empowering the next generation.
Our Approach
We believe that meaningful impact comes from meeting people where they are. Our work begins with simple yet powerful acts — providing school supplies, hosting community events, and creating safe spaces for children to learn and thrive. These small steps build trust and provide immediate relief while laying the foundation for long-term programs like mentorship, summer learning sessions, and skills development workshops.
By blending local knowledge with the support of our international network, we ensure that every initiative is community-driven, culturally rooted, and sustainable. Our approach is guided by collaboration, transparency, and the conviction that when families, communities, and organizations come together, we can bridge gaps and build brighter futures.
